TLK - End of Year December 2008 Tournament

Catch, Photo and Enter, Release is encouraged, but if its legal it's your choice.
Fish must be caught December 1st through December 31st.

Snook + Redfish + Trout --- Total length of your longest 3 fish (one of each species)

Each Angler will be assigned a unique Tournament Token #, your token will arrive via Email,
sometime after 6:00PM on Sunday 11/30/08. The tournament token is the TLK logo with your Angler # printed in the center
The Score/Leader Board in this thread will be updated showing each Angler's Token #.
This Token must appear in each photo entered.
Note: Anglers registering after 11/30 may have a 24 to 48 hour delay receiving their Token while payment is verified.

All entries must be posted in this thread by 4:00PM EST Thursday January 1st., to qualify.

On Saturday, January 10th, we'll have a get together at Round Island Park West,
Fish if you wish, fun day and TLK 2009 kickoff. Meet and greet the crew and other yak'sters.
Launch any time you wish, Offshore guys can launch on the East side from the beach.
The get together and kickoff off party will start around 1:00PM, food and drinks,
December Winners crowned at 2:00PM, wrap up around 3:00PM and on the road home.
You do not need to be present to win.


Rules:
1) All fish must be caught and landed from/in/on a kayak or canoe, (paddle/peddle craft only), unassisted by the Angler entering the fish. No assistance except taking the photo.
2) Catch, Photo, & post photo as your Entry, on this thread.
3) All entries must be posted on this site within 48 hours of the catch except your final entry from 12/31 which must be posted by 4:00PM 1/1/2009
4) Participants must be TLK members to participate (Register in the forum to sign up and play)
5) Tournament Judge has final decision on entry points/inches, (1 point per inch), awarded
6) In the event of a Tie the angler posting the longest total length first will be declared the winner, second tie break if needed longest Trout caught first.

Entry Process:
1) Post your photo-entry on this Tournament thread (plz. do not post the size you think it is)
2) The judges will verify the photo and may request original photo by email if needed, notify you of the verified size via PM
3) If you disagree with the judges decision reply to the PM within 24 hours
4) The Score board will be updated.

Entry Details:
Post a single photo showing the Full Fish, Clearly Visible Lips to Tail & Legible measuring device, with your tournament Token and some part of your kayak/canoe visible.
No photo editing, including spot masking, allowed, any evidence of photo editing will disqualify the entry.

Measurements:
All fish measured by natural lay on your measuring device, no pinched tail.
Overall length, rounded down to the nearest half-inch, 1 point per Inch awarded,
as verified by the tournament director or his/her assistant.

The TLK directors, have dropped out of the main tournament challange and will not be competing for the main prize packages.
We have created a separate TLK 2008 December Directors Challange complete with Score/Leader boards.
The rules are the same, same scoring system, same trash talk.
